Jacqueline Korner is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst who has been in the field of Behavior Analysis for more than 30 years. She founded Positive Behavior Treatment in 2004. She is currently the Florida Association of Behavior Analysis (FABA) special interest group's Multicultural Membership chair.
She graduated as a Clinical Psychologist top of her class Magna Cum Laude in 1987 and obtained her Magister Scientiarium in Psychology with specialization in Behavior analysis in 1995 at Universidad Central de Venezuela (UCV). She has participated in many conferences and workshops in both Venezuela and the United States about Applied Behavioral Analysis. She was invited to participate in Telemundo TV shows and Radio Shows to speak about Behavior Analysis.
Jacqueline was a full time tenure Researcher/Instructor in the Institute of Psychology/School of Psychology until 1995. She moved to Florida and became a visiting scholar at the University of Miami, and later on an Adjunct Faculty at Florida International University.
She worked for almost 10 years as a Behavior Analyst/Team Leader in an Intermediate Care Facility for people with developmental disabilities/State Institution. She became a Certified Florida Behavioral Analyst with expanded privileges in 1998 while she worked as a Behavior Analyst and Team Leader in an Intermediate Care Facility for people with developmental disabilities. Then in 2001, she became a Board Certified Behavior analyst. She has provided consultations at family homes, pre-schools, schools, adult day programs, foster homes, group homes, and State institutions in Florida and out of Florida. In 2020 Jacqueline Became Licensed Behavior Analyst in Texas and in 2021 International Behavior Analyst.
